Russia as it was seen by Bilibin
Ivan Bilibin was a great Russian artist widely known as a brilliant Russian fairy tales illustrator. But few are aware of his photographic works.
In his works the artist was inspired by the Russian North. In 1903 Bilibin was asked by the Russian Museum to visit Vologda and Olonez province to take pictures of wooden architecture masterpieces.
