Back to the childhood
To be childish today is in a trend.
Today we are not in a hurry to give up our childhood habits. We are playing games, watching cartoons, and wear outfits that differentiate from the ones that children wear only by its size.
We are not against childhood. But grown-up childhood. But we do not realize why we should go back to a different childhood. We were not growing up with Disney cartoons, video games and baseball cards. The images from our childhood are completely different. Probably only Russian people associate their childhood with a fairy tale. With the good fairy-tale where evil gets destroyed by the good.
Russian childhood differentiate from, let’s say, American childhood. For us it’s not just carefree time of entertainment. For us it is time when we truly believe in justice.
To recreate the link with the childhood we could go through our photo albums. But to return the atmosphere of the childhood more effort is needed. It is enough to go through the illustrations of Russian artist Ivan Bilibin. His paintings pass on magic atmosphere of fairy tales. It could help clear your conscience.
